Results

During the 2010 International Coastal Cleanup, 498,818 volunteers picked up 7.4 million pounds of marine debris, in 114 countries and locations around the world and 46 US states and the District of Columbia. In Miami, over 4,000 volunteers joined together at 42 coastal and inland sites to help restore the health of Miami's beaches and waterways.

2010 Results (United States):

Total number of volunteers: 245,317
Total miles of coast line cleared: 9,120 miles 
Total weight of collected debris: 4,628,994
