Why Volunteer?

Please Note: All volunteers must fill out the Volunteer Release Form.

Are you tight on time but looking for a fun and easy way to get outside? Looking to become an environmental steward and meet new people? Helping at a local cleanup is the way to go. Many cleanups are looking for participants to come out and lend a hand. This hands-on conservation program offers a truly one of a kind learning experience. Miami-Dade Coastal Cleanup volunteers will clean sites from Homestead to Aventura and will receive free t-shirts (while supplies last) to commemorate the event and their efforts.

Volunteers, We Need You!

To put it simply, this event just can't happen without your help. Every year more volunteers turn out for these events and more sites are added. With the addition of more sites, volunteers are needed to make this event successful.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering at a cleanup event helps to keep the natural parts of Miami-Dade County beautiful for everyone to enjoy. This event also gives volunteers an opportunity to meet new people, to work in teams, to get outside, and to volunteer in a stress-relieving, natural setting.

Students!

Fulfill your community service requirements at the 2011 Miami Dade Coastal Cleanup. Individuals, clubs, and classes are welcome and encouraged to come out and participate in this event.
