Miami Dade County volunteers will clean sites from Homestead to Aventura and will receive free t-shirts (while supplies last) to commemorate the event and their efforts.

Volunteers, We Need You!
To put it simply, this event just can't happen without your help. Every year more volunteers turn out for these events and more sites are added. With the addition of more sites, volunteers are needed to make this event successful.

Why Volunteer?
Volunteering at a cleanup event helps to keep the natural parts of Miami-Dade County beautiful for everyone to enjoy. This event also gives volunteers an opportunity to meet new people, to work in teams, to get outside, and to volunteer in a stress-relieving, natural setting.

Students!
Fulfill your community service requirements at the 2010 Miami Dade Coastal Cleanup. Individuals, clubs, and classes are welcome and encouraged to come out and participate in this event.

What to Bring:

  • Signed Volunteer Release Form
  • Garden gloves or work gloves
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Long pants
  • Sturdy shoes
  • Bug spray repellent
  • Sunscreen
  • Cap/hat
  • A Great Attitude!!!
