Over 2,500 volunteers joined together at 19 coastal and inland cleanup sites to help restore the health of Miami's beaches and waterways at the 23rd Annual International Coastal Cleanup sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy.

2008 Results:

Total number of volunteers: 2,512
Total miles of coast line cleared: 29.3 miles
Total weight of collected debris: 11,630
